Mod and Rockers Fest is back

Mods and Rockers Film Festival starts its 9th edition on June 26 - July 9.  They'll have the world premiere of Burt Kearns' doc "The Seventh Python," about Neil Innes, the writer and performer who collaborated frequently with Monty Python and wrote the song "Death Cab for Cutie" - featured in the Beatle's film "Magical Mystery Tour" and the inspiration for the band of the same name.

Fest will also show "A Hard Day's Night," docs on Syd Barrett and Robyn Hitchcock, and "All You Need Is Love," Tony Palmer's landmark 17-film series, rarely seen stateside, that covers the story of popular music.  A very cool lineup.  Check out www.modsandrockers.com.
