Sundance announces Storytelling Fellows
The Sundance Institute has announced the 2008 Time Warner Storytelling Fellows: playwright Kirsten Greenidge ("Bossa Nova"), filmmakers John Magary ("Blood Abundance, or the Half-Life of Antoinette") and Dees Rees ("Pariah"). The artists previously attended the theatre and director labs, respectively.
The Time Warner Storytelling Advancement Fund gives four-year support to help develop independent artists with the Sundance's film and theatre programs. The fellows get year-round guidance, residency support, mentoring, and professional development.
