Fest with arty art films
Artecinema in Naples, Italy bills itself as the first genre fest built around art. They program 15 to 100 minute films in three sections- Visual Art, Architecture, and Photography - and as they say very pointedly in their release "screenings from 5 pm to midnight, no repeats, in original language."
Docus on tap are Marion Cajori and Amei Wallach's "Louise Burgeois: The Spider, The Mistress and The Tangerine," Christina Clausen's "The Universe of Keith Haring" and Lucy Allen's "Damien Hirst: Addicted to Art" (pictured).

Michael Jones is the film festival editor at Variety.com.
