Lance Armstrong's houseparty


Lance Armstrong greeted the early arrivals to SXSW with a bowl of wristbands and a party at his Austin abode.

and "Indiana Jones" producer Frank Marshall.  Marshall has had long ties to Texas' film production industry, beginning when he was a location manager on "The Last Picture Show," shot in Archer City.


SXSW founder Louis Black with the Austin Film Society's Rebecca Campbell.


UT Professor John Pierson with Texas Monthly editor Evan Smith.  Smith proudly noted that Friday's Texas Film Hall of Fame event has raised $400 grand for the Austin Film Society.
