Upside with Docsider

Mark Rabinowitz (aka The Rabbi) got a new gig at SnagFilms, where he's staked a blog-flag at something called Docsider, where he tracks all things docu.

Hey Rabbi, are docs really that important?
You know what? Non-fiction films are important. They are important to the ongoing history of the world as we know it and they are important as an artistic outlet. They bear witness to the bad things... War, disease, torture, injustice. And also to the good things... Music, art, nature, love. And they let people express themselves in ways terrible and beautiful.

Yes, dammit. They are! :-)
