Screamfest!

The 7 year old Screamfest in LA will open this year with George A. Romero's "Dairy of the Dead" and will have a special screening of "30 Days of Night" with Josh Hartnett, producer Sam Raimi, and authors of the fantastic graphic novel in attendance, Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith.

Closing it out will be "Timber Falls" by Tony Giglio.

They'll also have "Pakistan's first gore film," Omar Khan's "Hell's Ground" and the US debut of Jamie Blanks' "Storm Warning." World premiering will be "Tooth and Nail" directed by Mark Young, "Wasting Away" directed by Matthew Kohnen, and "Frayed" directed by Norb Caoili and Rob Portman.

THE SIGNAL directed by David Bruckner, Dan Bush and Jacob Gentry

SYMPATHY directed by Andrew Moorman.
