Damage control for "Brooklyn's Finest"

Perhaps answering the fallout from last night's poor buyer reception to "Brooklyn's Finest," there are reports of an email that has gone out to distribs saying that director Antoine Fuqua, famously protective of his final cut authority, will now consider editing the film. Buyers have been vocal about the ending, in particular.

"It's a disastrous ending," said one buyer.

This was one of those scripts-to-die-for that everyone bid on and catapulted the writer to fame from obscurity - and like so many others it should now do the reverse!
