Austin to honor Boyle

The good word on Danny Boyle's eighth movie "Slumdog Millionaire" hasn't receded since its Telluride preem. And today the Austin Film Festival kept it going by announcing it will honor Boyle with its 2008 Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking Award.  

Boyle will be on hand to receive the award at a special luncheon on October 18.  He will also participate in a screening of  "Shallow Grave" and A Conversation With discussion.
