Fests losing execs
There's been a recent spate of fest exec resignations. Matt Dentler leaving SXSW (to the capable hands of Janet Peirson) was a biggie.
Since then, Marc and Brenda Lhormer left Sonoma Valley, Brian Gordon left Nashville, and then word today that Jody Kielbasa is leaving Sarasota.
Interestingly, I wrote about how both the Lhormers and Kielbasa intertwined their festivals around movies they were producing, which both went to Sundance this year - "Bottle Shock" and "The Deal."
