Bel Air gets a fest
The first Bel Air Film Festival will unspool November 14-19. The doc-heavy program will kick off with the "Film Fashion Night" at a private estate where they'll screen the short doc "James Gill Full Circle" about the pop artist's (who painted "Brigitte Bardot," pictured right) rise and disappearance from the Hollywood scene. Later they'll show "The Jill and Tony Curtis Story" and "Heckler" where Jamie Kennedy polls other celebs, including George Lucas, about the heckler menace.In their Jewish Film Night, "Friends" producer Marta Kauffman will be honored following the screening of her doc "Blessed is the Match," about WWII poet and paratrooper Hannah Senesh.
