Smokey brings love to Temecula Valley

Billo, Le Grand Dakhaar” and “Unsettled” won best narrative and best doc at the Temecula Valley fest.  A special jury prize went to “Gulf War Syndrome – Killing Our Own” while an Honorable Mention went to “Damned to Heaven.”

From those titles, sounds like that awards ceremony desperately needed a little love.  Hopefully, the smooth-as-silk voice of fest honoree Smokey Robinson brought it.

Baby, baby don't cry
Baby, baby here's why
Love is here standing by...

Temecula Valley International Film Festival will open with the World Premiere of "Greetings from the Shore," (pictured) which will include an "all-star vintage car parade" to the red carpet, which makes the fest read like Mayberry, until they start advertising the hot casino action - "If your game is slots, blackjack, poker, craps or roulette, we have something fun for everyone."
