Marc Graser is senior writer at Variety. Previously, he was the editor of Advertising Age's newsletter Madison & Vine, covering the business of branded entertainment. He also reported on entertainment marketing for Advertising Age. He is based in Los Angeles. Before Ad Age, Graser spent six years covering the film industry, as well as post production, entertainment marketing and branded entertainment, animation, video games and technology at Variety. He also held the titles of film reporter, technology editor and editor of eV while there. Graser is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, and grew up in Germany, as an Army brat.
