The 56th annual Golden Reel Awards are spread over 15 categories for dialogue and ADR; effects and Foley; and music.
Toons nominated include "Horton Hears a Who," "Kung Fu Panda," "Peur(s) du noir" (Fear(s) of the Dark), "Waltz With Bashir," "Wall-E" and "Bolt."
"High School Musical 3: Senior Year," "How She Move," "Shine a Light" and "Mamma Mia!" were singled out for music editing.
"Mad Men," "Family Guy," "Battlestar Galactica" and "Lost" were nominated in TV categories.
"Gears of War 2," "Space Chimps" and "Need for Speed Undercover" drew computer entertainment editing noms.
Ben Burtt, sound editor for "Wall-E," "Star Wars" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark," will receive the org's career achievement nod.
The Golden Reel Awards will be held Feb. 21 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
