The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is readying a post-Christmas gift for its 5,810 voting members. Oscar ballots are set to be mailed out on Friday.
Ballots must be returned to PriceWaterhouseCoopers by Jan. 12 at 5 p.m. PT. Nominations will be unveiled on Jan. 22 at the Acad's Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The 81st annual Academy Awards ceremony is set for Feb. 22 at the Kodak Theater.
