After two years in New York, the ninth annual Golden Trailer awards are moving back to the West Coast -- slated for May 8 at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.
The kudofest covers 55 categories, spanning such media as domestic and foreign movie trailers, movie posters, TV spots and videogame trailers.
Highlights include awards in the action, romance and summer blockbuster categories, as well as the Golden Fleece trophy for best bad movie preview, and the trashiest trailer award. Winners are voted on by a panel of industry heavyweights, to be announced in early spring.
General submission entries are due to the Golden Trailer Awards by March 27. Applications are available at goldentrailer.com.
