Biopic was voted best British independent film; Corbijn took best director and the debut director honor; Sam Riley, who plays Curtis, notched up most promising newcomer; and supporting actor honors went toToby Kebbell.
Judi Dench took actress laurels for "Notes on a Scandal" while Viggo Mortensen nabbed the actor award for "Eastern Promises."
Daniel Craig received the Variety award for bringing the British film industry into the spotlight from Variety Intl. director Alberto Lopez.
A special jury prize was awarded to Andi Engel, Pam Engel and Robert Beeson, the founders of U.K. arthouse distrib Artificial Eye.
Award was particularly poignant given that Andi Engel passed away earlier this year.
