TV and music impresario Simon Fuller will receive the Producers Guild of America's Visionary Award at the org's 19th annual awards dinner Feb. 2.
Back to topFuller is CEO and founder of 19 Entertainment, creator and producer of the wildly popular "Idol" reality-competish format, which runs in 70 countries. He is also co-creator of Fox skeins "The Next Great American Band" and "So You Think You Can Dance."
PGA's Visionary Award goes to producers who demonstrate a "unique or uplifting quality," the org said.
The PGA awards will be presented at the Beverly Hilton. Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon are co-chairs.
