ACTRA Toronto, a division of the main Canuck actors union, announced Tuesday the nominations for the 2006 ACTRA Awards in Toronto, which will be handed out Feb. 24 at the Carlu.
Back to topThe nominees for female perf include Paula Boudreau (for TV series "The Tournament"), Wendy Crewson (telepic "The Man Who Lost Himself"), Megan Follows (TV movie "Shania: A Life in Eight Albums"), Victoria Snow (telepic "Waking Up Wally: The Walter Gretzky Story") and Samantha Weinstein (short film "Big Girl").
The nominees for male perf are Shawn Ashmore (telepic "The Terry Fox Story"), Tom McCamus ("Waking up Wally"), Michael Miranda (miniseries "The Lives of Saints"), Joe Pingue (short "Leo") and Dov Tiefenbach (feature "The Dark Hours").
The Award of Excellence will be presented to thesp-helmer Sarah Polley.
