MTV's 'Beavis' to leave us

The final original regular installment of MTV's "Beavis & Butt-head," entitled "Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead," will debut on the cabler on Nov. 28 (the day after Thanksgiving) at 10 p.m., repeating Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.

Show will find rumors circulating that Beavis and Butt-head are dead after they fail to show up for school one day. Reactions to their apparent demise are mixed, spurring some of the boys' longtime nemeses to reminisce. Just as the school is coming to terms with their loss, they show up to spoil the mourning.

"Beavis & Butt-head" will remain on MTV in reruns indefinitely, with MTV also continuing to produce new and "B" specials. And the fifth annual "Butt-Bowl," featuring new Beavis and Butt-head cartoons, will air on MTV during halftime of the Super Bowl in January.
