Showscan expands sales wing

As part of a reorganization and expansion of the company's sales and marketing division, Showscan Corp. has promoted two sales execs, hired a new marketing director and appointed a customer support services manager for the company's new client services department.

Marianne Cheyne, formerly director of marketing, has been promoted to manager of North American sales, responsible for the sale of Showscan Simulator and Specialty theater systems to locations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Teri Ruffley, formerly a sales representative for Europe, has been named manager, European sales. Ruffley will be based in Ireland and will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities throughout Europe.

Mary Lou Hotsko was named Showscan's director of marketing. Her role will be to develop and implement the company's corporate marketing strategies. She will promote Showscan's Specialty Theatre attractions and Simulator Theatre attractions.

Todd Cherches was named manager of Showscan's new Customer Support Services Dept.
