Exec Shuffle

Michael Wright, formerly an agent at Creative Artists Agency, has joined CBS Entertainment as director, motion pictures for television.

Wright has been involved in the CBS "Janek" movies (see "The Forget Me Not Murders" review, page 8) and the miniseries "Remember."

Robert J. Mariano has been named VP, network development, at Comspan, a supplier of U.S. TV programs to Russia that's expanding into developing concepts for new cable channels. Mariano was a partner in Cable Broadcast Consultants.

Republic Pictures Home Entertainment Group has upped Dena Wholey to VP of marketing, where she will oversee marketing plans and sales materials for homevideo releases. Wholey was director of marketing.
