Top industryites look at 'Big Picture' in April

The fourth annual Variety/Wertheim Schroder "The Big Picture" conference will be April 12 at New York's Pierre Hotel.

Featured speakers will be Time Warner CEO Gerald Levin, Federal Communications Commission chairman Reed Hundt, Bell Atlantic CEO Raymond Smith and Hubbard Broadcasting CEO Stanley Hubbard.

The conference will also include panel discussions, "The Wild Bunch: Some Industry Mavericks Take an Irreverent Look at the Problems Facing the Film Industry,""Cable and the TV Networks: New Alliances, New Businesses, New Problems" and "The Interactive Highway: Hope, Hype and Reality."

Participants in the panels will include Viacom/Paramount CEO Frank Biondi, NBC president Robert Wright, HBO chief Michael Fuchs, producers Scott Rudin, Joel Silver and Robert Evans, Miramax co-chairman Harvey Weinstein, ICM honcho Jeff Berg and screenwriter Joe Eszterhas.
