Brooks preps telepic slate
The producer is still developing several movies in association with Citadel, including the high-profile "Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan Story," an unauthorized version of the story -- which will also be chronicled by ABC and NBC -- for Fox Broadcasting Co.
Victor Hawkins and Tom Nelson have been tapped to script the project.
Another project, "Nothing to Lose," is being developed for actress Susan Sarandon through an earlier association with Edgar J. Scherick & Associates. "Nothing to Lose" is an HBO movie about two doctors arrested for prescribing anti-AIDS drugs that are illegal in the U.S.
Brooks' most recent project, also in association with Scherick, is the Jane Seymour starrer "A Passion for Justice: The Hazel Brannon Smith Story," which will air in April on ABC.
A remaining project with Citadel is "For the Love of a Daughter," a fact-based telefilm in development at CBS.
