Turner sets trio for vid

Turner Pictures Worldwide has announced that three animated properties will be released through its sell-through homevideo pipeline.

The titles are skedded to be released in spring, summer and fall '94.

The first to roll out will be "SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron," followed by a series of "Johnny Quest" titles and the original cartoon series "2 Stupid Dogs."

Marketing plans were outlined to Turner's homevideo licensees at a workshop held prior to the start of the American Film Market at Shutters Inn in Santa Monica.

In a statement, TPW senior VP/general manager Robert Lazarus said, "Our goal is to create successful campaigns for all of our titles as we have done with 'The Flintstones.' "
