Tia Carrere was named Friday as NATO/ShoWest's '94 Female Star of Tomorrow.

The "Wayne's World 2" and "Rising Sun" star will be honored at the convention's final night awards banquet March 10.

The model-turned-actress will be at the annual confab between exhibitors and distributors to promote "True Lies," in which she co-stars with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Pic is slated for distribution by 20th Century Fox this summer.

Carrere's previous credits include "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, ""Showdown in Little Tokyo" and the original "Wayne's World." She also modeled for such fashion magazines as Vogue, Mademoiselle, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar and GQ.
