TV Bingo on its way
TV Bingo Network Inc. said Friday it signed an agreement with a Fox Network station in Tulsa, Okla., to launch a 30-minute gameshow, the highlight of which will be a 10-minute high-stakes bingo game broadcast from the reservation.
Chairman Gordon Graves said the 30-minute gameshow will be produced at the Fox production facility in Tulsa and broadcast by the Oklahoma 41 station.
The bingo portion will most likely emanate from the Creek Nation reservation on the outskirts of Tulsa, the current site of a bingo show broadcast daily by satellite to 50 reservations.
Viewers will be able to participate by calling an 800- or 900- telephone number and retaining a surrogate player at $ 5 for each bingo card. The card will allow the viewer to win as much as $ 1 million in cash and prizes.
