Kehoe surveys 'Dominion'

Techie-turned-director Michael Kehoe has reached an agreement with Prism Pictures to helm his first feature project, "Dominion," the film's producer Alam Blomquist confirmed Friday.

Negotiations are under way with Ernie Hudson, Brion James and Tim Thomerson to star.

Written by Kehoe and Woody Brown, "Dominion" is about six friends who go on an expensive hunting excursion and are stalked by a killer. The budget is estimated in the $ 1 million-$ 3 million range.

A longtime craft-service person in Hollywood, who worked on such movies as "Diggstown" and "Last Action Hero," the 34-year-old Kehoe segued to the director's chair with the 17-minute short "Second Dance" (Daily Variety, Jan. 14 ).
