Cuaron on 'Little'
Based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett and made in 1939 starring Shirley Temple, it's about a Victorian waif.
The new script is written by Richard LaGravenese; Elizabeth Chandler has been brought in to update the script.
In addition to "Princess," Cuaron is also set to helm Columbia Pictures' thriller "Love in the Attic," a Lauren Shuler-Donner project loosely based on a true story about a wife who hides her husband's female employees in their attic. The script was written by Donald Westlake.
The Mexican director made his mark in Hollywood with the 1992 low-budget "Love in the Time of Hysteria."
Cuaron won the CableAce award for the "Murder, Obliquely" episode of "Fallen Angels."
