'Inside' moves at WNYW
The move, which comes in the wake of next week's National Assn. of Television Program Executives confab, follows word the syndicator has struck a two-year deal with WNBC-TV to air the newsmag in access beginning this fall.
Some speculate the Fox station may be speaking to punish the KW show, which improved WNYW's access performance during the November sweeps. "Inside" scored a 6.7 rating/11 share in its time period last November, up from the 5.9/9 that "A Current Affair" earned in the slot a year earlier. "Inside" also outperformed "Affair" in both men and women 25-54.
