Fox cancels 'Monty' sneak
Under its revised sked, Fox will air the premiere episode of "Monty" on Jan. 11 in its regular 8 p.m. Tuesday night slot.
A spokesman said Fox chose to scrap the earlier airing so it could focus all of its promotion efforts for the new mid-season sitcom, which involves a right-wing cable talkshow host at odds with his liberal family, on a single night.
On Jan. 9, the weblet will air a rerun of "Married ... With Children" in the 30 p.m. slot originally held for "Monty."
