'Sioux City' filming begins

Cabin Fever Films began principal photography this week on "Sioux City," the first feature film for the new company.

The company is an offshoot of Cabin Fever Entertainment, a successful distributor of homevid product (Daily Variety, Nov. 9).

Lou Diamond Phillips stars in and directs the $ 3 million-budgeted pic, which is being shot on location in Saugus.

The thriller is being produced by Brian Rix and Jane Ubell of Rix-Ubell, in association with Facet Films. Cabin Fever Entertainment execs Jeff Lawenda and Dan Gross are executive producers.
