Disney-MGM shuffles staff

The Disney-MGM Studios has announced that Jim Washburn has been promoted to director of new business development/West Coast.

Nancy Henson has been named to succeed Washburn as general manager of studio facilities and Cal McWhorter has been named to the new position of head of facilities.

Washburn will become the Hollywood-based liaison for users of Orlando-based Disney-MGM, following four years as the Florida-based manager of the lot. Henson has 25 years of experience in production. Previously head of the scene shop, McWhorter will oversee expansion of the Orlando studio lot.
