L.A.-based Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters Inc. has bought KTID AM/FM, Marin County's only commercial radio station, for $ 1.7 million. KTID, which currently features adult contemporary music, has been losing money since 1989, according to Art Astor, who bought the station a decade ago. Astor's three-station chain, Astor Broadcasting Group, entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 1992. Mount Wilson will assume $ 100,000 of KTID's debt, said Saul Levine, the company's president and principal shareholder. Levine said he expected the FCC to approve the sale by Feb. 1.
