Atlantis Films names Shea prexy

Kevin Shea has joined Toronto-based Atlantis Films as president/chief operating officer, a new position.

He will run the company with chairman/CEO Michael MacMillan.

Shea comes from Canada's specialty channel YTV, where he'd served as prexy/CEO since before the service went on the air in 1988.

Atlantis made several additions to its executive roster at the end of 1992 to handle an expanded production slate, which includes TV movies for Showtime, the Family Channel and NBC.
