Rogers Communications Inc. said growth in revenues at its cable television and wireless communications operations, combined with higher operating cash flow margins in both businesses, contributed to improved results.

In the latest quarter, wireless revenues rose 17.8% to $ C159.2 million ($ 119.4 million). Cable revenues rose 17.4% to $ C161.4 million ($ 121.05 million).

An offering of 13 million common shares of Blockbuster Entertainment Corp. was priced at $ 30 each through underwriters led by Merrill Lynch. Gross spread is $ 1.05; selling concession is 62 cents; reallowance is 10 cents.
