NEW YORK --- "Woundings," a Muse Prods./Stone Canyon Entertainment film, has just started principal photography on the Isle of Man, starring Guy Pearce, Johnathon Schaech, Sammi Davis, Noah Taylor and Emily Lloyd.

Roberta Hanley, who wrote the screenplay, is making her feature directing debut with the pic. Producers are Muse Prods.' Chris Hanley ("Trees Lounge") and Stone Canyon Entertainment's Bradford Schlei. Jordan Gertner is exec VP of the pic, which is based on English sci-fi scribe Jeff Noon's play.

Also starring are Ray Winstone, Charlie Creed-Miles, Twiggy, Julie Cox and Sarah-Jane Potts.

Cinequanon Pictures Intl., an indie foreign sales and distrib company, put together the financing for the pic and will handle its foreign distribution.

Pic is a love story set in the near, war-torn future, with the action centering around four women who are resettled to a remote island base as companions for young soldiers stationed there.
