The Berlinale will remember indie film pioneer Bingham Ray with a memorial to be held Monday at the European Film Market.

Telluride Festival founder Tom Luddy and Sony Classics' Michael Barker will join Berlinale topper Dieter Kosslick and EFM director Beki Probst at the event, which will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the market's new American Independents in Berlin lounge at the main Martin Gropius Bau venue.

Ray died Jan. 23 after suffering a stroke while attending the Sundance Film Festival.
