Richard Schiff joins 'Man of Steel'

'West Wing' alum to play Dr. Hamilton

Richard Schiff has joined the cast of Warner Bros.' "Man of Steel," playing a character dubbed Dr. Hamilton.

The Zack Snyder pic has been lensing in Vancouver and Chicago.

Schiff, an Emmy winner for his role on NBC's "The West Wing," has most recently guested on a number of TV skeins, including ABC's "Once Upon a Time," NBC's "Up All Night" and USA's "White Collar."
