John O'Hurley has joined the cast of ABC Family sitcom pilot "Village People."
O'Hurley ("Seinfeld") will play Paul Landon, the father of the lead character played by Jennie Garth.
Sadie Calvano, Sebastian Sozzi and Rachel Cannon will co-star in the show, greenlit to pilot in September, about a woman who plans to adopt and ends up taking in the teenage birth mom under her care. Meg DeLoatch is exec producing with Garth.
O'Hurley is also involved with a TNT pilot, "Fortune Hunters." He is repped by APA and managed by Greg Strangis at Marv Dauer & Associates.
