Sean Faris has signed to star as Clyde Barrow in indie feature "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde" from Cypress Moon Studios.

Lindsay Pulsipher ("True Blood") was signed recently for the role of Bonnie Parker, replacing Hilary Duff.

Tonya S. Holly is directing and producing the film and plans to shoot in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and possibly Missouri. Thomas Rogers III is also producing.

Parker and Barrow were portrayed in Arthur Penn's 1967 classic "Bonnie and Clyde" by Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. The new film aims to explore many aspects of the lives of the Depression-era bank robbers that have never been seen on the bigscreen before.

Faris is currently filming "Pawn" alongside Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Stephen Lang and Nikki Reed. His credits include "Never Back Down," "Sleepover" and "Yours, Mine and Ours" and the TV series "Reunion" and "Life as We Know It."

Faris is represented by Dino May Management and the Gersh Agency.
