Mulligan
The Hollywood Film Festival has selected Carey Mulligan to receive its supporting actress award.
The nod, announced Monday, will be presented Oct. 24 at the fest's awards ceremonies at the BevHilton.
The fest also named seven actors -- Berenice Bejo, Jean Dujardin, Elle Fanning, Amber Heard, Andrea Riseborough, Shailene Woodley and Anton Yelchin -- to receive the Hollywood Spotlight Award at the event.
Mulligan can currently be seen in FilmDistrict's action thriller "Drive" and will be seen in "Shame" and "The Great Gatsby."
Heard will next be seen in "The Rum Diary" and recently completed production on the independent film "Syrup." Bejo and Dujardin are in the "The Artist" while Fanning starred in "Super 8" and will be seen next in "Twixt."Riseborough stars in Madonna's "W.E.," "Resistance," "Welcome to the Punch" and "Disconnect." Woodley stars in "The Descendants" and Yelchin is in "Like Crazy."
