Pixar vet joins Digital Domain startup

Director-producer Brad Lewis heads to Tradition Studios

Pixar's Brad Lewis, co-director of current hit "Cars 2," has ankled to join Tradition Studios, the new animation studio from Digital Domain Media Group.

The 10-year Pixar vet, who also produced "Ratatouille," will be based at Tradition's new facility in Florida.

Prior to Pixar, Lewis spent 11 years at PDI and DreamWorks, where he worked on "Antz." He won Emmys for vfx on Hanna-Barbera's "The Last Halloween" and for graphics on "Monday Night Football." He is also a former mayor of San Carlos, Calif.
