Durand
Kevin Durand is in final negotiations to round out the cast of the David Cronenberg pic "Cosmopolis" with Robert Pattinson.
Based on the Don DeLillo tome of the same name, story follows a multimillionaire, played by Pattinson, who risks his entire fortune to bet against the Japanese Yen on a cataclysmic day. Durand would play Pattinson's chief security officer.
Cronenberg will write and direct the pic with Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti and Sarah Gadon also starring.
Cronenberg will also produce along with Paulo Branco. Renee Tab will exec produce.
Durand just finished filming "Edwin Boyd" with Scott Speedman and can be seen next in DreamWork's "Real Steel" with Hugh Jackman.
