Oliver Stone will be feted by the San Francisco Film Festival later this month.
Fest will hold a Q&A with the helmer and a retrospective of his work at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas on April 27. The following night, he'll receive the Founder's Directing Award at its Film Society Awards. The gala is a fund-raiser benefitting the San Francisco Film Society's youth education program.
Frank Pierson has been tapped for the fest's Kanbar Award for screenwriting.
Event runs April 21-May 5.
