Sony buys 'Agent'

Kunka's alien spec script set up at Moritz Studios

Sony Pictures has acquired "Agent OX," Daniel Kunka's alien invasion spec script, and set it up with Neal Moritz at his Original Pictures.

The deal closed Friday night, with ICM repping Kunka.

Story follows a human spy living on an alien planet who must stop an invasion of Earth.

Moritz is a producer on "Battle: Los Angeles," which opened Friday, and the upcoming "Fast Five," "The Change-Up" and "21 Jump Street."

Kunka previously penned police actioner "12 Rounds," directed by Renny Harlin.
