The World Boxing Council has inked a syndication pact with distrib Small World IFT for worldwide syndication of new and vintage boxing matches.
The WBC's weekly bouts will be offered to stations as two-hour telecasts featuring four championship fights. Small World also will repackage archival footage from classic fights, including Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier's famed "Thrilla in Manila" and the famous bouts between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran.
Santa Clarita, Calif.-based Small World was founded in 2005 by former Fox and Sony Pictures TV exec Tim Crescenti.
