ROME -- As the "Inception" juggernaut touches down in Italy -- its last major international territory -- Warner Bros. on Tuesday trumpeted a $753 million worldwide haul to date for the surreal heist thriller, while helmer Christopher Nolan disclosed videogame spinoff plans.

"We are looking at doing is developing a videogame based on the world of the film, which has all kinds of ideas that you can't fit into a feature film," Nolan said at a packed Rome press conference. "That's something we've been talking about and are looking at doing long term, in a couple of years."

Besides the rare feat of being the only summer movie to stay in the top 10 Stateside for 10 straight weeks -- and also the second 2010 release to attain that B.O. status in the U.S., along with "How to Train Your Dragon" -- "Inception" has pulled $285 million domestically and $468 million internationally. Pic will go out on 600 screens in Italy on Friday.

"I did always intend for this film to give a mass audience a really entertaining experience," Nolan said. "But my fear with the film was always that it would be misinterpreted as being overly cerebral or puzzle-like."
