Once NBC is done "Losing It with Jillian" this summer, the Peacock plans a "Breakthrough with Tony Robbins."
NBC announced Tuesday that "Breakthrough" will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. starting July 27, once "Losing It" ends its summer run.
"Breakthrough" has been waiting an airdate for some time. NBC originally ordered eight episodes of the show way back in February 2009 -- under the previous regime of Ben Silverman. It was the first major piece of development ordered by NBC reality topper Paul Telegdy.
Series features the self-help guru Robbins as he takes participants and helps them face personal challenges; the pilot, for example, focused on someone who was a lifelong stutterer -- and who, by the end of the episode, was speaking in front of a public audience.
"Breakthrough With Tony Robbins" comes from Reveille. Robbins, Howard T. Owens, Mark Koops, Shauna Minoprio and Tom Forman executive produce.
