Spike returns to 'Blue Mountain'

Cabler orders second season of raunchy comedy

'Blue Mountain State'

Spike TV has ordered 13 more episodes of 'Blue Mountain State.'

Spike TV is going for a sophomore year of "Blue Mountain State."

Cabler has ordered another 13 segs of the raunchy college comedy, produced by Lionsgate TV. The show marks Spike TV's first attempt at a scripted half-hour laffer.

"State" has performed well by Spike TV standards, averaging about 1 million viewers for its first six episodes to date.

Series stars Ed Marinaro as the coach of a powerhouse college football program. Darin Brooks, Alan Ritchson and Gabrielle Dennis star as students.

"State" is exec produced by Brian Robbins, Sharla Sumpter Bridgett, Eric Falconer and Chris Romano.
