ABC orders more 'Dating'

Three men, three women try to find mates with no light

'Dating in the Dark'

We see what 'Dating in the Dark' contestants can't: men and women looking for love. ABC has ordered another six episodes.

ABC has ordered another six-episode season of last summer's reality competish, "Dating in the Dark."

Show is expected to once again air this summer. Tom Shelly ("Survivor") is the exec producer of the reality series, which comes from Endemol USA.

Originally a Dutch format, "Dating in the Dark" follows groups of men and women as they attempt to get to know each other in pitch-black rooms.

"Dating" averaged a 2.0 rating and 6 share among adults 18-49 over its six airings last summer.

Endemol USA produces "Dating in the Dark" along with John de Mol's Talpa Content shingle.

In other reality pickup news, TLC has ordered another 12 episodes of "One Big Happy Family," a reality show about an overweight family. RDF USA produces.
